Pour prolonger la durée de vie de votre plancher de tente, nous vous recommandons d'utiliser une empreinte ou un tapis de sol Big Agnes . L'empreinte Big Agnes vous permet également de monter un abri Fast Fly léger en laissant le corps de la tente derrière vous. La configuration Fast Fly nécessite l'empreinte, le double toit, les arceaux et les piquets.

Instructions de nettoyage et d'entretien de la tente et de l'empreinte :

Stockage :

Assurez-vous toujours que votre tente est sèche et exempte de débris avant de la ranger. Pliez et roulez votre tente d'une manière différente à chaque fois pour éviter les plis permanents. Stockez-la dans un endroit frais et sec. Ne laissez jamais votre tente dans un endroit chaud (comme un coffre de voiture ou un grenier) pendant de longues périodes, car cela endommagerait le revêtement des matériaux. Le stockage de votre tente dans un endroit humide peut entraîner la formation de moisissures, ce qui peut provoquer des odeurs, des fuites ou un décollement de la tente. Les dommages causés par la moisissure ne sont pas couverts par la garantie.

Nettoyage :

Pour un nettoyage léger, épongez le produit avec de l'eau tiède (pas chaude).

Pour un nettoyage plus approfondi, vous aurez besoin
-un lavabo (ou une baignoire) - de l'eau tiède (pas chaude)
-Un nettoyant imperméable (nous recommandons des produits comme Nikwax Tech Wash).
-Une éponge

1. Immergez votre équipement dans de l'eau tiède et propre. Agitez doucement avec les mains. Videz l'eau sale. Répétez l'opération jusqu'à ce que la plupart des salissures soient éliminées et que l'eau soit claire.
2. Appliquez le nettoyant spécifique pour vêtements imperméables et faites-le pénétrer doucement dans le tissu à l'aide d'une éponge.
3. Rincer soigneusement l'équipement.
4. Suspendez-le pour le faire sécher.
5. Vérifiez à trois reprises que votre équipement est complètement sec avant de le ranger ou de l'utiliser.

*Ne pas nettoyer à sec ni laver en machine. Les détergents et les solvants de nettoyage à sec endommagent le tissu et détruisent l'imperméabilité.
*N'utilisez jamais d'eau chaude, d'eau de Javel, de détergents liquides ou de liquides vaisselle.
*Laisser sécher COMPLÈTEMENT avant de ranger ou d'utiliser.
*Éviter la lumière directe et prolongée du soleil car l'exposition aux UV peut compromettre l'imperméabilité.

Fermeture des coutures :

Big Agnes les tentes sont scellées dans le cadre de notre processus de fabrication ! Ce ruban adhésif est suffisamment résistant pour empêcher les fuites d'eau. Il n'est pas nécessaire de sceller les coutures qui ont été collées à l'aide d'un produit d'étanchéité liquide, à moins que vous ne souhaitiez une protection supplémentaire. Assurez-vous que l'enduit de scellement est complètement sec avant de remballer votre tente. Les dommages causés par une mauvaise application peuvent entraîner l'annulation de la garantie.

Fermetures éclair :

En gardant vos fermetures à glissière propres, vous éviterez que les bobines et les curseurs ne s'usent. Si elles sont encrassées, passez l'aspirateur ou brossez les fermetures avant de ranger la tente. Nous recommandons le nettoyant et le lubrifiant pour fermetures éclair Gear Aid.

Nous ne garantissons pas les produits endommagés par l'usure normale, les modifications apportées par le propriétaire, la mauvaise utilisation, les accidents ou les dommages causés par une utilisation autre que celle prévue. Mise en place

SEEDHOUSE SL SET UP INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Remove contents from stuff sack. Spread out the tent body.
2. Stake out the four corners of the tent body.
3. Assemble the pole frame with two hubs and a attached crossover pole. To ensure each pole section is fully seated, insert each pole section into the next by hand instead of allowing the shock cord to snap them together.
4. Position the assembled pole frame on top of the tent body. Make sure the attached cross-over pole is on top of the ridge pole. Match the colors of the pole ends with the matching colors of the webbing on the tent body.
5. Insert the pole tips into the grommets at the four corners of the tent.
6. Attach all the plastic clips on the tent body to the pole frame.
7. Clip the ends of the attached crossover pole into the clear plastic “Ball CAP” clips located on each side of the tent body.
8. Drape the rainfly over the tent so that the door on the fly lines up with the door on the body.
9. Insert the tips of the crossover pole into the small pockets located on the underside of the fly.
10. Attach all Velcro® tabs on the underside of the fly to the corresponding pole sections for best stability.
11. Make sure the webbing at the corners of the rainfly is completely slackened. Attach the buckles on the rainfly to those on the tent body.
12. Tighten the webbing on each buckle as needed to keep the rainfly taut.
13. Stake out the front vestibule and the two Sidecar vestibules then stake out all remaining guylines.

Separate 6” length pole segment included for emergency field repair. Slide repair pole over the break to act as a splint. Secure splint in place with tape.

FAST FLY SET UP INSTRUCTIONS

If you purchase the optional Big Agnes footprint for your tent, it will enable you to pitch a Fast Fly shelter while leaving the tent body behind. The Fast Fly configuration requires the footprint, tent fly, poles and stakes.

1. Lay the footprint on the ground and stake out.
2. Assemble the pole frame with two hubs and an attached crossover pole. To ensure each pole section is fully seated, insert each pole section into the next by hand instead of allowing the shock cord to snap them together.
3. Position the assembled pole frame on top of the foot print. Make sure the attached cross-over pole is on top of the ridge pole. Match the colors of the pole ends with the matching colors of the webbing on the footprint.
4. Insert the pole tips into the grommets at the four corners of the tent.
5. Drape the rainfly over the pole frame matching the webbing colors on the fly with the matching colors on the footprint.
6. Insert the tips of the crossover pole into the small pockets located on the underside of the fly.
7. Attach all Velcro® tabs on the underside of the fly to the corresponding pole sections for best stability.
8. Make sure the webbing at the corners of the rainfly is completely slackened. Attach the buckles on the fly to those on the footprint.
9. Tighten the webbing on each buckle as needed to keep the rainfly taut.
10. Stake out the front vestibule and the two Sidecar vestibules then stake out all remaining guylines.

HELPFUL HINTS FOR TENT SET UP

Our tents are easy to set up, but we suggest you practice once at home before using them for the first time to avoid late night bickering with tent mates while fumbling around in the dark.
Before pitching tent, clear campsite of debris that may pierce tent floor.
We recommend staking out all corners, vestibules and guylines to increase space and ventilation. Securely staking out your tent and all guylines is crucial to maintaining the structural integrity of your tent.
Hang onto your stuff sacks or they’ll blow away and create backcountry litter.
Pull on the pole sleeve fabric when inserting poles to avoid any bunching in the material.
Push rather than pull poles through pole sleeves.

Qu'est-ce qu'un nom ?

The original “Seedhouse,” north of Steamboat Springs and at the edge of the Mount Zirkel Wilderness, was built in 1912 by the Forest Service to store seeds from nearby spruce and pine cones. The operation proved too costly and the building was repurposed - over the years as a ranger station and summer camp building. Arguably more famous - and recognized by the State Historical Society - the Seedhouse Campground Outhouse is a four-seater log outhouse that is the last standing structure in the Routt National Forest built by the Civilian Conservation Corps.
