Ingredients:

  • Onion
  • Carrots
  • Russet Potatoes
  • Hamburger Patties
  • Butter
  • Salt + Pepper
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Condiments of your choice

Instructions:

  1. Cut potatoes, onions, and carrots into thin slices
  2. Lay out large sections of tin foil (approximately 20 inches long)
  3. Put one hamburger patty on each section of tinfoil. Season with salt and pepper and any additional seasonings you like.
  4. Layer on top of the burger with potato, onion, and carrot slices. Add additional seasoning on top of the pile.
  5. Add approximately 1 tbsp of butter on top of the pile
  6. Lay tin foil on top. Roll up and crimp on the sides.

After your campfire has some good, hot coals, lay the hobo packets on top of the coals for about 20-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Once cooked, slide onto a camp plate, open up, add shredded cheese and condiments of your liking.

We personally like shredded cheddar and Chilula! Enjoy!
